The video was taken by Juan A. Oliet on December 2014 during one of Carol and Lon’s Christmas parties that gathered many people from Hilo community. Carol is playing on the violin, Lon on the piano, and my son Julio with the guitar.

Me and my wife Betsy went to Carol and Lon’s home every Wednesday during 2014 and 2015 to learn from Carol European folk music dance. We were really thanked for your hospitality that widen its limits to these nice parties such as one you can see in the video or for instance during Thanksgiving. Interestingly, thanks to Carol, we learn more about European traditional dancing in Hawaii than in Europe!!!
